2014 hosting bids due June 1

Bids to host 2014 BC Curling Championships are due Friday June 1st.

Hosting a Curl BC Championship has many benefits for facilities and their members. Some of the benefits are:

  • Added revenue brought into the centre
  • Community awareness of the sport and facility
  • Relationship building with local businesses and politicians
  • Entertainment from the best curlers in the province
  • Opportunity for member development and certification through officiating & statistician courses
  • Opportunity for members to earn credit for practical officiating & statistician hours to become eligible for work at future national and international events
  • A stepping stone for the facility to host future national and international events
  • Opportunity to build team spirit amongst your membership and encourage future member involvement in your facility
